Channel

v. To act as a conduit for a non-corporeal entity, offering one’s self up for possession by that entity so that it can communicate with others. Usually transitive: “Elizabeth was channelling Demeter last night.” n. 1. A person who is able to channel effectively, or who is currently channelling: “Joe will be the channel for tonight’s ritual.” 2. A person who habitually channels a particular entity: “Shirley MacLaine is Ramtha’s channel.”
