Ceremonial magick ritual designed to clear the area of any unwanted planetary influences. Generally performed after the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, and prior to any non-trivial working, as part of the standard banishing and clearing of the ritual space. The Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram is generally known by its initials: BRH.
The ritual is based on an analysis and dramatization of the concepts: INRI; LVX; IAO; and ARARITA. The first three of these have to do with the descent of spirit into matter or death and its rebirth as light; the last is an acronym for a Hebrew phrase declaring the unitary nature of God.
