A revision of the Star of David, altered so that it can be drawn in a single, continuous motion (much like the pentagram). Aleister Crowley is often incorrectly credited with having invented it; in actuality, he did much to popularize it, by the simple expedient of adopting it as his own personal symbol and sigil (thus easily engendering the confusion).
The unicursal hexagram is suitable for use as a substitute for the harder-to-draw “standard” hexagram in rituals such as the BRH, but only Thelemites seem to make the substitution with any regularity. They also commonly wear the unicursal hexagram as jewelry.
